Bangladesh Film and Television Institute is a Bangladesh government institute for research and training on film making. The institute was established through the passage of Bangladesh Film and Television Institute Bill (Amendment) in the Parliament of Bangladesh in 2019. The institute is managed by a six member management committee and run by a director nominated by the Government of Bangladesh.
The institute is inviting applications from the students for the admission on 1st Film Appreciation Course.

The relationship of film with other art mediums-theater, literature, painting, photography, etc.
The development of film language, historical and cultural context of film
Concept of space-time in shots, analysis of film genres, discussion and analysis of film language elements.
