For this special group of people, special care is required. Globalization and change of economic condition and activities are reducing the joint family practices. Nuclear family practice is today’s reality. 

For providing geriatric care, demand for trained and skilled manpower are increasing. Ibrahim Cardiac has introduced 01(One) year Certificate Course in Geriatric Care. This is the first professional geriatric education in Bangladesh. 

Geriatric Meaning:

It is the speciality of focusing the healthcare of old people. 

Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates in the session January-December, 2024.

Duration:

01(One) Year

Number of seat:

20 nos. 

Qualification:

SSC or junior midwifery. Junior midwifery graduate will be given preference

Age: Not more than 25 years

Marital Status: Unmarried

Course Facility: Hostel Facility for female students. 

Scholarship or Allowance: Tk. 7000/- course allowance for non-residential trainees and Tk. 6,500/- for residential trainees. 

Application submission deadline: November 20, 2023 by 4:00 pm. 

Admission Test date: November 30, 2023(Thursday) at 10:00 am at Training Room, Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital. 

Result announcement: December 07, 2021(Thursday)

Interview date: December 12, 2023 (Only for those who will pass written test)

Final Result announcement: December 17, 2023(Sunday)

Admission Formalities: 20-31 December, 2022(From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm)

Class Starts: January 16, 2024
