Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) are inviting applications from the candidates for the combined admission test on BSc in Engineering.

Program Title: BSc in Engineering

Qualification for admission: 

A. The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.

B. Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2022 or get GCE 'A' level certificate after 2021

C. Students who have passed in Secondary examination of 2019 or 2020 from any Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board / Madrasa Education Board / Technical Education Board in Bangladesh will have to get at least GPA 4.00 or must have obtained at least an equivalent grade in the equivalent examination.

D. Students who have passed the Higher Secondary / Alim / equivalent examination from any Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education / Madrasa Education Board / Technical Education Board in Bangladesh should get separate grade point 5.00 in each of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects and total grade point of 15.00 in Mathematics, Physics , and Chemistry. At least equivalent grade in the said subject in the English version / equivalent examination from the Foreign Education Board. In addition, in order to be admitted in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the concerned candidate has to get at least grade point 4.00 in Biology in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.

E. If the candidate has passed GCE “O” and GCE “A” level, in order to participate in the admission test, he / she will have to get ‘A’ grade in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English separately in GCE ‘0’ level examination and have to get ‘A’ grades in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately in GCE “A’ level examination. In addition, in order to be admitted in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the concerned candidate has to get at least B grade in Biology in GCE “A’ level examination.

F. Candidates must have at least 80% or equivalent grade in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in the Higher Secondary / Equivalent Examination 2021 from a foreign educational institution subject to having at least 12 academic years of study period. Candidates should get an average of at least 70% or equivalent grade in the secondary / equivalent examination.

G. The first 33,000 (thirty-three thousand) candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test on the basis of the marks of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from among the eligible applicants.

H. All applicants of GCE “O” level and GCE “A” level and reserved seats will be considered eligible to participate in the admission test subject to fulfillment of minimum qualifications.
