Job Title: Financial Sector Specialist

 

The World Bank seeks to recruit a dynamic professional as a Financial Sector Specialist, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the World Bank's South Asia Region's Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice Team. This is a 3-year Term appointment.

 

The candidate should have a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Management or a related field; with a minimum of 5 years of working experience on financial sector development issues in Bangladesh, including in the private sector and/or public sector (e.g., central bank or other financial sector regulatory bodies), and/or international organizations, with strong track record of results and impeccable reputation.

 

This is a country office position in Bangladesh subject to local recruitment under the Bangladesh compensation plan. The World Bank offers a locally competitive package.
